State Treasurer Sarah Steelman and Congressman Kenny Hulshof didn’t wait long to crank up negative campaigns in their Republican primary contest in the race for Missouri governor.
Hulshof has attacked Steelman for supposedly being weak in her opposition to early stem cell research. Steelman has tried to paint Hulshof as just another congressional-earmarker-and-pork-barrel-spender-gone-wild.
